- In 2006 I was elected to the Penncrest School Board of Directors. I held office on the Board from 2007-2011. Toward the end of my term, I resigned due to the fact that I had moved out of the district boundaries.
- In 2008, I ran for the office of Sixth District State Representative and was unsuccessful although the margin of votes was minimal.
- In 2009, I became a member of the Advisory Board for Crawford County LEAP and served as their President from 2011-2013.
- **My greatest accomplishment has been teaching and influencing hundreds of students. They have become productive workers and county tax payers. Some of their career choices include military service, restaurant management, restaurant staff, food photographers and culinary business owners.
Today, I run for the office State Representative for the Sixth District with the same drive and common goals that I have always maintained, "Jobs and community for the graduates of today and the students of tomorrow."
